Getting Started
Snapzy is a free, open source macOS app for screenshots and screen recordings. This guide gets you up and running in under a minute.
System Requirements
- macOS 13 Ventura or later
- Screen Recording permission (granted on first run)
- Microphone permission (only if you want voice input in recordings)
Install in 3 Steps
- Download the latest
.dmgfrom the download page. - Drag Snapzy into your Applications folder.
- Open Snapzy. On first launch, macOS may ask you to allow it via
System Settings → Privacy & Security.
