Per-App Language on macOS
Starting with macOS Ventura, you can set a different language for each app without changing your system language.
- Open
System Settings → General → Language & Region. - Scroll down to the Applications section and click the plus (+) button.
- Select Snapzy from the list and choose your preferred language.
- Quit and reopen Snapzy to apply the change.
Note — If Snapzy is not listed, make sure you have launched it at least once so macOS recognizes the app.
OCR Text Recognition Languages
Snapzy uses macOS native Vision framework for OCR, which supports a wide range of scripts and languages. The OCR engine automatically detects the dominant language in the selected region.
For best results, make sure the text language is included in your macOS system language list under System Settings → General → Language & Region.
Contribute Translations
Snapzy is open source and welcomes community translations. If you would like to add a new language or improve an existing one, open a pull request on the GitHub repository.
